Oktoberfest Event Logo

Thank you to everyone who attended The Loretto Foundation’s Oktoberfest fundraiser held at Heritage Hill Brewery on October 19th. We raised over $200,000 which enables The Loretto Foundation to provide Loretto residents, participants, and employees with innovative programs, technology, and support.

A special thank you to our presenting sponsor Pharmscript, to our 26 corporate sponsors, and to the individuals and corporations who donated the 44 auction items. Because of this support, The Loretto Foundation can continue to positively impact the lives of our Loretto residents and employees. Thank you for being a part of our Loretto Family!

Board Member Testimonials

"For nearly a century, Loretto has served the CNY community by providing person-first, innovative, and affordable eldercare and empowering those who need that care to continue to live their lives with purpose, wholeness, and dignity. Since the 1950s, the Loretto Foundation, a not-for-profit, has supported this imperative mission by raising funds to invest in the lives of the individuals Loretto serves and the employees who make this service possible. Giving back to this pillar in our community is a no-brainer!"

- Liza R. Magley, Member, Bond, Schoeneck & King PLLC

"Loretto is a very special organization in our community. We often think of it as a large senior living community we can see from route 81 but it is so much more. Its mission is dedicated to helping people age gracefully. They have innovated a continuum of care that allows people to age gracefully in their homes. And they have innovated around taking care of their employees so they can better care for their clients and their families. There is no better place to turn to when you need advice and support for caring for your loved ones."

- Pierre Morrisseau, CEO, ONEGROUP

"I support the Loretto Foundation because of the extraordinary work the foundation does to support the efforts of Loretto as it relates to the quality of care for the residents as well as the quality of life for the staff. Every dollar the Foundation raises helps Loretto care for our community's aging population. It is a worthwhile cause and worthwhile work."

- Jason Smorol, General Manager, Syracuse Mets

"My family and I are proud supporters of the Loretto Foundation, Loretto’s impact on Central New York is immeasurable, their steadfast dedication to their team of professionals and the families that they serve lifts our community every day."

- John P. Condon, Senior Vice President, Brown & Brown Empire State

"I support the Loretto Foundation because when I think of Elder Care in and around Syracuse, on all levels, Loretto is my first choice for my family and my friends. My personal experiences have always been outstanding. Loretto cares not only for its residents but also the employees."

- Helene Wallace

"I am wholeheartedly supportive of Loretto. Having been a patient there during Covid, I found out firsthand how professional, caring, friendly, and supportive this great organization is for all in need."

- Monsignor J. Robert Yeazel,
