Who We Are
At Loretto, caring for individuals and making a difference in the lives of others is the foundation of who we are. We are a local, non-profit organization that has served the community since 1926. Since our founding, we have certainly evolved, but through the years we have stayed true to our purpose: Responding to the needs of our community, and providing care for those who need it, allowing them to continue living their lives with purpose, wholeness, and dignity.
Loretto is far more than a nursing home. We are a comprehensive continuing healthcare organization dedicated to transforming eldercare in Central New York, focusing on person-first, affordable care. With 19 specialized programs and over 2,500 dedicated employees, we’re able to provide customized care to our residents and program participants.
If you or a loved one are looking for a solution, you’re not alone. We’re dedicated to helping you find the programs and services that best suit your needs. We encourage you to join the over 10,000 individuals using our extensive network of services and experience the Loretto difference.
To be a family of exceptional people, caring for and about each other.
For over 90 years, the Loretto organization has stayed true to this mission and the values that encompass it. Though our organization has evolved, we have never lost sight of who we are. Instead, we have welcomed innovation and change as agents to help us better serve our community and stay true to our mission. We continue to work together to find more meaningful ways we can serve both individuals and their families.
Loretto will always be the best place to live with purpose, wholeness and dignity.
Honesty and respect are essential to trust. We will always work to earn and maintain the faith and confidence of those around us.
Kindness is at the core of how we care for everyone around us. We will do our best to provide truly loving care and will honor the rights and traditions of every individual.
The greatest accomplishments are achieved through teamwork. We will work together toward our common goal of delivering extraordinary care.
We are all leaders, which means being proactive and taking responsibility. We will lead through continuous improvement and by innovating to find better ways to deliver exceptional services and care
