Syracuse, NY (October 23, 2024) – Loretto has hired Cassandra D. Bulak, CPA and Margaret Lally, MBA, as finance administrators, and Joshua Apker, MBA, as a finance manager.

 

Bulak is the Vice President of Accounting and Treasury, where she oversees accounting and budgeting, treasury and cash management, tax reporting, purchasing, and corporate insurance. She most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer of Iroquois Nursing Home, and prior to that, as the Chief Financial Officer for Arise Child and Family Services. Bulak is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and earned a bachelor of science in business administration (BA) from the University of Buffalo.

 

 

Lally is the Vice President of Finance Operations and Reimbursement and is responsible for financial operations oversight, revenue cycle management, third-party rates and reimbursements, and long-term strategic financial planning. Prior to joining Loretto, Lally was the director of healthcare consulting at Bonadio Group in Syracuse. She previously served as a senior healthcare consultant at Fust, Charles, Chambers, LLP and as a financial analyst for Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic. Lally earned a bachelor of arts (BA) in economics from Hobart & William Smith Colleges and a master’s in business administration (MBA) from the University of Rochester.

 

 

Apker is an accounting manager overseeing Loretto’s accounting department to ensure compliance with financial records, policies, and practices. His responsibilities include the management of financial statements, cash flow projections, cost reporting, annual budgeting, and tax returns. Before joining Loretto, Apker was a senior accountant at Dannible & McKee LLP. He has also served as a staff accountant at Insero & Co. Certified Public Accountants and as an assistant chief financial officer at The William George Agency for Children’s Service, Inc. Apker received a bachelor of business administration (BBA) and a master’s of business administration (MBA) from St. Bonaventure University.
