National Best Friends Day – two Loretto residents rekindle friendship
Syracuse, NY (June 7, 2021) – Tomorrow (6/8) is National Best Friends Day. For one pair of long-time best friends who grew up in Syracuse, Loretto was the place where they reconnected with one another after a decade apart.
Iona and Nancy, both grew up in Syracuse, met in church back in 1972. The two quickly became friends and traveled all over the U.S. together. When one of them had a health issue and the other moved out of state, the two best friends lost touch for almost ten years.
When Iona and Nancy moved into Loretto’s Buckley Landing residence, the last thing either of them expected was to see a face that’s all too familiar.
