Syracuse, NY (December 6, 2019) – U.S. News & World Report has named The Nottingham Residental Health Care Facility (RHCF) in Jamesville a 2019-20 Best Nursing Home. This Loretto facility is among the top 19% of U.S. Skilled Nursing Facilities that earned “High Performing” ratings in the most in-depth analysis of U.S. nursing homes ever published.

Considered the global authority in health care rankings, U.S. News evaluated more than 15,000 nursing homes nationwide, in every state and nearly 100 major metropolitan areas.

Although the Best Nursing Homes ratings rely on data published by CMS (the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services), they are completely separate from CMS’s star ratings. U.S. News data analysts used information that is not incorporated into the star ratings and analyzed the data in ways that avoid some of the flaws in the CMS ratings.
